This ancient intaglio pictures a God surrounded by birds, one of which seems to be pulling a worm from the ground. The intaglio is wonderfully carved from an orange and white banded agate. It is set in an elaborate setting of plaited and beaded 14k gold which dates from the mid 1800s. With its tiny size it was likely worn as a pinky ring.

Details.....Currently a size 3. The top of the ring measures 22.1mm by 14.4mm with an 18.7mm profile, and the band is 4.2mm wide. In Very Good Antique Condition. You should expect all vintage and antique jewels to show some wear; we consider it part of their charm.
